Darren Martin joined Greenway Hall Golf Club as the Director of Golf in September 2024, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the golf industry. A well-known and respected figure in the local golfing community, Darren was most recently the Head Professional at Barlaston Golf Club, where he gained a reputation for his expert coaching, custom club fitting, and golf retailing, as well as his friendly and approachable nature.

Darren’s diverse skill set spans all areas of golf, from player development to course management, and he is particularly passionate about helping golfers of all levels optimize their performance through personalized custom fitting. His extensive experience in golf retailing also ensures that members have access to the latest equipment and expert advice.

Darren is excited to be working within the fantastic facilities at Greenway Hall and is eager to contribute his vision for the club’s future. His goals include expanding junior golf programs, offering innovative coaching opportunities, and creating a truly inclusive golfing community. He is committed to enhancing the overall member experience and ensuring Greenway Hall remains a premier golfing destination for years to come.

Outside of his professional role, Darren enjoys competitive play, mentoring young golfers, and supporting local initiatives that promote the game of golf. He is looking forward to building lasting relationships with members and staff and playing an active role in the club’s ongoing success.
