Bags - Why make things harder?
Some days, we’re really battling the course conditions, and we just can’t seem to hit the ball right. Yet, when we make an unexpected par or birdie, we feel over the moon!
Golf is very much a game that comes alive in summer with winter bringing its own unique challenges with it. We’ve had a lot of rain recently, and while October can be a beautiful time of year, it’s also very much setting up the tone for the winter ahead.
We can expect frost, wind, and plenty of rain over the coming months. But have no fear, today we want to remind you of all the great Motocaddy products and accessories we stock to help you overcome the winter elements.
Dry-Series Cart Bag
If you’re looking for the ideal bag to keep you going through any downpours of rain, the Dry-Series cart bag will have all your worries fully taken care of. The bag is made from a fully waterproof nylon fabric and has an umbrella sleeve for your convenience.
One of the best features Motocaddy has launched recently is the anti-twist Easilock base found on all their cart bags. This section offers you some much-needed peace of mind by ensuring your bag is fully locked in to your trolley and won’t rock back and forth as you progress along the fairway. No more checking the tightness of straps to keep your bag from falling off!
HydroFlex Stand Bag
This nifty stand bag is the excellent piece of kit to take to the golf course when the rain has deemed trolleys unsuitable for use. The HydroFlex is lightweight, waterproof, and has handy carry straps that feel comfortable to use and slides over your shoulders with ease. This bag can easily be secured onto any trolleys too so it’s entirely up to you how you prefer to use it.
Umbrella holder
To give you the best golfing experience possible in the rain, we’d recommend you upgrade your gear with one of Motocaddy’s accessories kits that includes an umbrella holder. Compatible with all Motocaddy trolleys and accommodating various umbrella handle sizes, this handy piece of equipment will give you some much-needed respite in the rain.
Hot Mitts
Have you ever been pushing your trolley along on a frosty morning round only for your hands to start to go numb from the cold, then when it’s time for you to hit your next shot you’ve got to blow on your fingers to warm them up again? This can make golf feel very stop-start and keep you from staying focused.
When you have Motocaddy’s Hot Mitts attached to your handlebar, your fingers will stay at your ideal temperature the entire time you’re pushing your trolley. The mitts have different heat settings and allow quick access to certain trolley controls. You’ll really feel the benefit from these mitts when you’re playing golf early in winter!
Hedgehog winter wheels
Finally, these are a real must-have for when the weather has made the ground tough and boggy. If you weren’t aware, Motocaddy has specific winter wheels to help guide your trolley through terrain so that it doesn’t skid or slide out of your control. These Hedgehog winter wheels are named so because they feature large spikes that protrude from the wheel that give you excellent traction across both grass and mud.
Here in the pro shop, we understand how challenging golf can be throughout the winter, especially when the weather is threatening to keep you inside. We have all the gear you could need to protect you from the elements in the shop. Why not pop by and get yourself prepared for the months ahead?
