That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Junior Golf Academy—a programme designed to introduce young players to the joys of golf while fostering diversity and inclusion within our club.

Why a Junior Golf Academy?

Golf has often been seen as an exclusive sport, but we’re dedicated to changing that narrative. Our Junior Golf Academy aims to create a welcoming environment for young players of all backgrounds, skill levels, and experiences. By providing accessible training and mentorship, we want to ensure that every child has the opportunity to explore the game, learn valuable life skills, and make lasting friendships.

What the Academy Offers

Expert Coaching by PGA Professionals: Our professional coaches are not only skilled golfers but also certified PGA professionals. We’re proud to announce that Gina Wilkie will be the lead PGA coach for the academy. With her extensive experience and passion for teaching, Gina will provide personalised instruction tailored to each player’s unique abilities, ensuring a supportive and effective learning experience for every participant.
Diverse Programmes: The academy will feature various programmes, including beginner clinics, competitive training, and fun, social events. After the initial taster sessions, we will run six weekly programmes designed to progressively enhance skills and confidence. We encourage kids to join regardless of their prior experience—everyone is welcome!
Community Engagement: We are committed to building a diverse community. The Junior Golf Academy will focus on reaching out to underrepresented youth and providing opportunities for all children to get involved, ensuring that everyone has a chance to enjoy the game.

Free Taster Sessions

We are excited to announce that the Junior Golf Academy will officially start on 10th November this year! To celebrate, we will be offering free taster sessions for all interested young golfers. This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to experience golf in a fun and friendly environment before committing to the programme.
